Melissa is our CEO and Director - She is a second-generation stylist having been born into the hairdressing industry. With over 37 years of experience as a full-time stylist, she is our wealth of knowledge and inspiration.

Meet Damask, our senior stylist with a wealth of experience! She embarked on her hairdressing journey in 2009, starting in Wellington and honing her skills in two top salons before returning to her hometown, Nelson.

Ngaroma has been hairdressing for 15 years, starting her journey as a stylist in a busy inner city salon in Wellington. From there she moved to Australia and worked in some incredible salons.

Sarah started working at Aboki as an apprentice in 2000, during that time she trained in cutting and styling with Fox Stevens. Sarah has been hairdressing since completing her apprenticeship at Aboki in 2005 – she loves colour work and cutting!

Jess has been hairdressing for 15 years at Aboki - As well as doing her apprenticeship through Aboki, she has completed the two-year advanced cutting training with Fox Stevens.
