At Aboki Hairdressers, your satisfaction is our top priority.

We want you to leave our salon feeling 100% happy with your hair.

If, for any reason, you're not thrilled with the service we provided, we'd love the opportunity to make it right.

Here's how our complimentary redo service works:

  • Contact us within one week of your original appointment by calling reception at (03) 546-8680 or emailing us at aboki.hair@xtra.co.nz.

  • You can choose to return to your original stylist or we can recommend another stylist for the redo.

Please note:

  • The redo policy applies to minor adjustments, not complete changes to the originally requested look. We keep detailed notes and (often) photos of consultations to ensure this.

  • Sometimes, achieving your desired look may require multiple appointments due to hair history or complexity. This wouldn't be considered a redo.

  • We cannot guarantee the outcome of a colour service where important information hasn't been disclosed to your stylist during your consultation. This includes past colour work/processes, use of particular shampoos known to affect the hair, etc. Full disclosure is essential for achieving the best results.

  • Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds for services performed.

  • We can only guarantee the longevity of our colour services if you use our recommended salon products. Maintaining your colour is an investment, and we want to help you protect it!

  • If you've used box dyes, henna, direct dyes, or are transitioning from dark to light hair, achieving your desired colour may take more than one session. We'll let you know upfront if multiple appointments are necessary. If you're informed this will take time and don't achieve the full result in the first appointment, a redo wouldn't be applicable.

  • Changes to the requested service discussed during your consultation will incur an additional cost. Please discuss this with your stylist.
