We encourage clients to re-book their next appointment while in the salon, to enable the stylist of your choice, and time and date that suits. This avoids a wait
to get the stylist and day you want.

Please request a reminder call when making your appointment, as we don’t remind all clients.

We also do text reminders, please ask when making your appointment.

Please remember that parking is at a premium in Buxton Square during the Holiday period allow extra time to find a parking space.

Salon News

We have 3 new Assistants. Carissa, Nicole and Elena have joined the team to assist our Stylists and help with the day to day running of the salon. We are sad to say farewell to one of our Assistants, Jessie who leaves shortly on her exciting OE, we wish her all the best. Lee, another one of our Assistants, has temporarily relocated to Auckland to complete her year-long teacher training and Mella left due to family commitments.

John has recently been down to Timaru to conduct a cutting training session for 5 Hairstylists. He ran a one day hands on workshop concentrating on the classic bob and creating edgy modern styles to this classic cut.

You may have recently read in the media that ‘Kiwi Flyer’ is going to be filmed in Nelson from mid August to mid September. This film stars Nelson talent as well as Vince Martin, the Beaurepaires Guy, and Tandi Wright from Shortland Street fame. Aboki will be doing the colour and cut work with Jean, ‘Kiwi Flyers’ official hair stylist. We are excited to welcome her to Nelson (from Auckland) and give her a base to work from.
