at a premium. Please remember to allow
yourself enough time
to park your car in the coming months and to
pre-book your next appointment in advance.


Booking in advance

We encourage clients to
re-book their next appointment while in
the salon, to enable the stylist of your choice,
and time and date that suits. This avoids a wait
to get the stylist and
day you want.

Please request a reminder call when making your appointment, as we don’t remind all clients.

We also do text reminders, please ask when making your appointment.

Summer is coming

You may need protection. Dry wind and UV from the sun can sometimes damage the hair and increase the effects of your colour fading. Kerastase has just recently released their Soleil Summer range. Salon News

We have a fantastic new team member, Claire, who has joined the team as a Senior Stylist. Claire has emigrated to Nelson from the UK and was a finalist for London’s best Hairdressers of the Year, by Heart FM. Claire is predominantly a cutting specialist and will undergo colour training while at Aboki.

Lucie has decided not to return to hairdressing after the arrival of her daughter Lily. We will miss Lucie but wish her all the best for the future.

Aimee gave birth to Mia on the 31st August, weighing 6lb 7oz. Aimee, Dean and little Mia are all doing very well. Aimee is returning part-time starting with Saturdays from the 15th Janurary, working 9.30am – 4pm.

We also welcome Krystal and Debi, our new Salon Assistants, to the team.

Still no news on Christina and Anthonys baby, she is due on the 23rd November.


Nelson Top Shop Award

Aboki was a finalist in the Health and Beauty section for the 12th consecutive year. We were judged with around 220 other Nelson businesses. We are thrilled with this achievement as it reflects our commitment to customer service and satisfaction. A big thank you to everyone who voted for us, and for your ongoing support.
