Are you or your partner bored with his hairstyle? Why not add some balayage colour with his next cut for $30? This is a combed through colour and can be either highlights (lighter) or lowlights (darker). Allow 60 minutes for the total cut and colour service.

Salon News

Lesley gave birth to Lara on the 27th May, Lara weighed 9lbs. Both Lesley and David are thrilled with their new bundle of joy. Lesley is hoping to return part-time to Aboki in December, working approximately 12 hours per week (Friday nights and Saturdays).

Melissa, John, Sandra and Jess recently attended Hair Expo 2010 in Sydney. This was an amazing event with John and Jess attending 1 day cutting workshops with world renowned Pivot Point, and Sandra and Jess attending colour seminars. They all got an amazing insight into next seasons colours and hairstyles. Check out the winners of the New Zealand and Australian Hairdressing awards at www.hairexpoaustralia.com.

An exciting time for Sarah and Steve who have set a date for their Wedding. They plan to get married on 26th February 2011 in Rarotonga.

We have some new faces at Aboki and would like to introduce Angela who joined the team in June as a Senior Stylist. Angela is skilled in all aspects of hairdressing, and works at Aboki Wednesday through to Saturday. We also have 2 new Salon Assistants, Mella and Jessie and a new apprentice Steph. Steph has finished her year 1 Polytech course and has recently started her 12 month foundation course with Fox Stevens, our cutting educator. These new team members help us to provide our fantastic service Aboki is famous for.

John and Melissa are away during the July School Holidays, returning on the 19th July.

Instead of shortening our hours during winter, we have now extended them. Talk to Hayley, our Receptionist for more details.
